IT Sales/Business Development Executive - Infrastructure & Storage Solutions

As part of an aggressive growth strategy, ePages.net is looking to appoint an experienced IT Sales/Business Development Executive.

Forming part of our Business Development Team, and operating from our Johannesburg office, you will be responsible for building a sales pipeline based on our extensive range of products and services.

Ideally you will have a solution sales background with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Server Products
  • Enterprise Content Management
  • Unified Storage Solutions
  • Information Security
  • Business Continuity
  • Backup, Retrieval and Archiving Solutions
  • Advanced Storage Solutions

Your key responsibilities will surround the entire sales process including:

  • Participation in lead generation campaigns
  • Opportunity development
  • Proposal writing
  • Customer presentation (to board level)
  • Deal closing
  • Liaison with technical team
  • High level project management
  • On-going account management

In order to qualify for this exciting position, you will ideally have the following skills:

  • Extensive direct, new business sales skills with consistent over achievement of targets
  • Self-starter, mentally tough and requiring minimum supervision
  • Experience in selling solutions to Business Line Management rather than to technologists
  • Organised and process driven work style
  • Ability and willingness to contribute at all stages of the sales cycle
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience of selling high value, complex software business products
  • Proven experience of selling at board or `C’ level
